PTFE Lined Worm Gear Lug Butterfly Valves deliver optimal corrosion resistance, flow control, and longevity for demanding industrial applications.

The PTFE lining provides a smooth, non-stick surface that prevents buildup and sticking of corrosive, sticky, or abrasive media. This allows the valve to be used across a wide range of chemicals, acids, powders, slurries, and other difficult fluids.

Valve Body:

      • Lug type valve body conforming to ASME B16.5 construction from carbon steel or stainless steel

      • Bi-directional dead-tight shutoff when mated with PTFE liner

      • Lug patterns to match major piping standards (ASME, API, etc)

Valve Disc:

      • Constructed from stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance

      • Polished and passivated sealing edge surface

      • Secured to valve shaft with tamper-proof retaining pins

PTFE Liner:

      • Extruded virgin PTFE liner resistant to chemical corrosion and abrasion

      • Liner thickness minimum 0.125" thick

      • Mechanically retained in valve body

Shaft & Gear Actuator:

      • Worm gear actuator provides precise position control and high actuation torque

      • Valve shafts supported on both sides by corrosion resistant bearings
